Two tigers found dead in Uttar Pradesh

Two carcasses of tigers including a cub found in last forty-eight hours from Dudhwa Tiger Reserve range at Lakhimpur Khiri district in Uttar Pradesh. The deputy director of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve P.P. Singh told AIR that an adult tiger carcass was found from south Khiri forest division area yesterday. According to the officer, it seems that the tiger was old and died its natural death because his skin, nail, and teeth were found undamaged.<br/><br/>Though another carcass of a tiger cub recovered this morning from Kishanpur sanctuary of the Dudhwa Tiger Range. The Tiger Reserve official however declined to comment on today's incident and said that the carcass of cub has sent for postmortem at Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly to ascertain the exact cause of death.
