In a major breakthrough, security forces have killed a top terrorist in an encounter in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Vilayat Hussain Lone alias Sajjad Afghani was killed in the gunbattle with security forces in Rawalpora area yesterday. Another terrorist, identified as Jahangir Ahmad Wani of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, was also killed in the encounter which was launched on Saturday.
