<span style="color: #222222;">Two teams have been carrying out investigations into the massive fire incident at the Haldia refinery of Indian Oil Corporation in West Bengal. Officials of the IOCL and a representative of the Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organization of the Ministry of Petroleum arrived at Haldia from Delhi today. A forensic team also visited the refinery and collected samples from the spot.<br />''<br />''It may be recalled that three persons lost their lives and another 40 were seriously injured in the incident which took place yesterday. 17 persons are undergoing treatment in various hospitals of Kolkata. Seven of them are in critical condition. After a meeting with the IOC officials, state minister Soumen Mahapatra told reporters that one of the deceased was a resident of Bihar while the two others were from Maharashtra. The Minister said that IOC will give 5 lakhs each to the next kin of the deceased while another 5 lakhs will be given by the contracting agency. </span><br />
