Two separate accidents kill at least twenty nine persons

In West Bengal, at least 20 persons were killed and 25 others injured when a private bus in which they were traveling collided with a truck in Howrah district on Sunday evening. The incident took place on the National Highway 6 near Mahisrekha bridge in Howrah district. Police said that the bus was en route to Gadiara town from Howrah.<br/><br/>In Uttar Pradesh, at least nine persons of a marriage party, including six children, were killed and three others injured seriously when their jeep collided head-on with a truck under Bardah police station in Azamgarh district on the Jaunpur state highway. Quoting police sources, AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the accident occurred when ten members of a family, and their driver, were returning from a marriage party.<br/>
