In Uttarakhand, six people were killed and 11 others were injured in two separate accidents on Monday. Reports say that all were on their way to attend marriage ceremonies. According to Disaster Mitigation and Management Centre, the first accident took place on Monday evening near Satpuli in Pauri district in which 4 people were killed and one was injured.In the other incident, two women were killed and 10 others of a marriage party were badly injured when the jeep carrying them fell into a deep gorge near Chilkyara.Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has expressed deep shock over the accident. He has prayed for the peace to the departed souls and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased.
