In Assam, Sarbanand Sonowal led Council of Ministers was expanded today by inducting 2 new faces. BJP legislators from Tinsukia and Mahmara Sanjoy Kishan and Jogen Mohan took oath as Minister of State for Independent Charges. Governor Jagdish Mukhi administered the oath to them at the Raj Bhawan in Guwahati.<br />'' <br />'' The portfolios to the new ministers are likely to be announced by this evening. There was a vacancy in the Sonowal ministry after 2 ministers Tapon Kumar Gogoi and Pallab Lochan Das resigned after they won the  Lok Sabha elections.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, state BJP President Ranjit Kumar Dass is all set to get another term as the state party President.
