Two new forces to protect WB industries

West Bengal Government has decided to raise up two new forces on the lines of the Central Industrial Security Forces (CIFS), with an aim to provide additional security to industrial units in West Bengal at large. <br/><br/>Talking to news persons in Kolkata today, the state Home Secretary Mr. Ardhendu Sen said that the two forces named as the Kolkata Industrial Security Force and the West Bengal Industrial Security Force, will be raised in the State. He said, a proposal to this effect has been sent to the State Finance ministry. <br/><br/>The Home secretary said that, in the both the forces there would be one battalion of security force each and these forces will not be put in charge of any body’s personal security. Mr. Sen also said that private industrial houses will have to pay the State Government for security services from these two forces.<br/>
