Two naxals have been arrested in two separate incidents in Giridih district of Jharkhand on Wednesday. One of the arrested naxal Mukhtar Ansari alias Jallad had a reward of two lakhs rupees on him, and has 30 cases pending against him in Giridih, Chatra and Hazaribagh districts. The most notorious is the recent killing of five private security guards. He was arrested from Kharingha village under Taratas police station. SP of Giridih A. B. Homekar told AIR that the other naxal Dasrath Manjhi alias Videsi Manjhi was arrested from Makonia village under Peert and police station of Giridih station.
