Two more Indian boxers have advanced to the semifinals to assure themselves of medals at the Asian Junior Championships in the Philippines. In the event being held at Puerto Princesa, Ankit Narwal (57 kg) and Akshay Siwach (60 kg) won their respective bouts to make the last-four stage today. While Ankit defeated Kazakhstan's Dimitriy Barmin in split 3-2 verdict, Akshay got the better Chinese Taipei's Lin Yu.Yesterday, six Indian boxers had entered the semifinals and with today's two wins, the total number of medals assured for India stands at eight.
