In Uttar Pradesh, two more children have succumbed to deadly encephalitis in Baba Raghav Das Medical College Hospital in Gorakhpur during last 24 hours. With this the death toll has mounted to 517 since January this year.<br/>AIR Gorakhpur correspondent quoting official sources reports that 16 fresh patients suffering from Japanese Encephalitis and Acute Encephalitis Syndrome have been admitted to BRD Medical College Hospital. A total of 110 patients are still undergoing treatment at different government hospitals of the region. As many as 2964 patients of encephalitis have been admitted this year to different government hospitals of eastern Uttar Pradesh.<br/>
