Two more persons have been arrested today in connection with the gangrape of a 23-year-old student in the National Capital.The victim remains on ventilator in a critical
condition. With the two arrests, the total number of persons arrested in this case has gone to four. Two persons were arrested yesterday. The 23 year old para-medical student was raped and brutally assaulted by four men, who also attacked her male friend and threw both of them out of the vehicle after the crime. Last night, Ram Singh, the driver of the bus , and his brother Yogesh were arrested. Sources said police managed to get the CCTV footage of the bus from which they managed to zero in on the bus. The investigators also sent text messages to mobile phones of the victims which were snatched by the attackers. A senior police official said, one of the active phones, helped them to nab the culprits.The official said, Police have recovered the iron rod which was used to assault the victim and her male friend.
