Two more cities in Afghanistan will be connected by direct flights to Delhi this week. <br/><br/>Mazar-e Sharif in North and Herat in the West are the two other major cities which are now going to have direct flights to Delhi. <br/><br/>The inaugural direct flight was seen off from the Maulana Jalalludin Balkhi airport in Mazar-e Sharif for IGIA, Delhi at 10.30 AM today. <br/><br/>Kam Air will operate two flights a week from Mazar on Monday and Wednesday and from Herat on Friday and Tuesday.<br/><br/>Today's flight was inaugurated by Dr. Mohammad Afzal Hadeed, Chairman of the Provincial Council of Balkh Province and Manjish Grover, Consul General of India in Mazar-e Sharif. <br/><br/>Speaking to media at the occasion, the Indian Consul General lauded the combined efforts of Afghanistan and India. He also felt that this will lead to more easier trade and commerce from North Afghanistan with India.
