In Jammu & Kashmir, two militants were killed in an encounter in north Kashmir's Handwara sector in Kupwara district today afternoon. An Army spokesman told AIR that a jawan was martyred while another soldier was injured during the encounter in the Boban Watsar forest area in Handwara sector in the district. The spokesman added that a cordon and search operation is on to find and engage other ultras .
