In Bihar, a two member team of the Election Commission, during two days tour held review meeting for the upcoming Assembly elections. The team includes Deputy Election Commissioners Sudeep Jain and Chandrabhushan Kumar. The team held review meeting with DMs and SPs of all 38 districts of the state.<br />'' <br />'' The Commission has instructed the officers to ensure maximum participation of electors including disabled one. The DMs were told to increase the number of entry points in the buildings that houses more polling booths in wake of Covid -19 pandemic. The election commission said, since the number of polling booths has been increased in order to maintain social distancing norms, additional arrangements have to be made for the voters. Police officials were instructed to accelerate the process of execution of pending warrants and property attachment orders<br />'' <br />'' The DMs were asked to seek help from Asha workers,anganwadi sevikas and those working under panchayati raj institutions to create awareness among electors.<br />'' <br />'' The election commission also directed district election officers to frame guidelines to restrict money flow during the polls and keep a watch on paid news along with use of social media. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Assembly elections in Bihar are due in October-November as the term of the current Assembly is scheduled to end on November the 29th.<br />'' &nbsp;
