A two-member Central Team has been rushed to Arunachal Pradesh for an on-the-spot-assessment of damage caused by recent landslide in Tawang District. <br/><br/>The team will comprise of a Senior Advisor in the NITI Aayog and a Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed the team to make an assessment of the nature of relief and compensation package, after holding discussions with the State and District officials. <br/><br/>The mishap took place on Sunday. The Prime Minister has already sanctioned ex-gratia relief of two lakh rupees each to the next of kin of the deceased and 50 thousand each to those seriously injured in the landslide.
