In Iraq, two leading al-Qaeda figures in the country were killed in a security operation in Anbar.<br/> <br/>Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki announced this in a press conference in Baghdad last evening. He informed that these two along with a number of al-Qaeda leaders in Iraq were killed during a security operation in al-Tharthar region in Anbar. <br/> <br/>The United States Forces Commander, General Raymond T. Odierno, in a statement which was received by AIR in Dubai has said that The death of these terrorists is potentially the most significant blow to al-Qaida in Iraq since the beginning of the insurgency. <br/>
