In Assam, two persons were killed and eight injured in two separate blasts last night. The police said that anti-talk faction of the banned outfit ULFA planted an Improvised Electronic Device IED on a bicycle at Sivsagar town. Nine persons were injured in the blasts and one of them later succumbed to his injury. Window panes of nearby houses and business establishments were shattered due to the impact of the blast.In another incident, one person was killed at Umrangso area of Dima Hasao district late last night. Police suspected that the person who carried the bomb was killed in the blast.
