In Iraq, one policeman and a civilian were killed and seven were wounded in two separate incidents in Baghdad today. Voice of Iraq news agency quoting police source has reported that a policeman was killed and two more injured when an explosive charge went off this morning in al-Aalam region of western Baghdad. The blast was targeted at a police vehicle patrol. Another bomb exploded inside a restaurant in al-Awierej region, southwestern Baghdad, killing a civilian and wounding five.
