In Jharkhand, one mine worker and one assistant Manager of BCCL were dead in an accident of coal mine at Basanti Mata Mine of the BCCL under Dhanbad district.

Speaking to Media, the Chief PRO of BCCL R. R. Parsad said that four miners are still trapped inside. Nearly 175 miners have been rescued. One injured mine worker has been admitted in a Central Hospital at Dhanbad. Efforts are on to rescue the remaining three miners. AIR correspondent reports that accident took place this morning when the work of roof bolting of the underground slant mine was going on.
