Two killed in clashes between Trinamool & BJP supporters in West Bengal's Birbhum

In West Bengal two persons were killed and one received bullet injuries in a series of clashes between Trinamool Congress and BJP supporters at Makra village under Parui Police Station in Birbhum District on Monday.

According to official sources victim include one Trinamool Congress and one BJP supporter. The injured person has been admitted into Suri hospital. A number of houses were set in fire and both the warring groups indiscriminately used bombs and fire during the clashes.

Police force was also attacked by bombs and fire arms. Large police contingent has been deployed in the area. Our correspondent reports that the officers incharge of the Parui Police Station Prasenjit Dutta was attacked last week when a team led by him raided a Block health centre in the area, where huge quantity of bombs were stored.
