In Andhra Pradesh, two persons were killed in a building collapse in a busy market area in Secunderabad on Saturday afternoon. Few more are feared to have trapped under the debris. The old building was under repair for the past few days. Police and firemen are carrying out rescue operations.Police identified the dead as hawkers on the footpath. National Disaster Management Authority Vice Chairman Sashidhar Reddy, who visited the site stressed the need to evolve an action plan for disaster management for the urban areas.
