Two JeM terrorists killed in encounter with security forces in J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were killed today in an encounter with security forces in Sopore town of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.

According to police sources, acting on a tip off about the presence of some foreigner ultras, security forces launched a massive search operation in Saidipora area of the town late last night.

During the operation the forces came to know that the militants were holed up inside a house. The house was cordoned off and the militants were asked to surrender by the security forces.

However the terrorist opened fire on the troops. The troops retaliated the firing and after a few hours exchange of heavy fire, the forces ultimately succeeded in killing both the militants. Two AK-47 rifles and huge quantity of ammunition have been recovered from the possession of the slain militants.
