Two Indian nationals who were abducted by rebels in South Sudan earlier this month have been released after the intervention of Government of India. Conveying the information of their release, External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, in a tweet lauded the Indian Ambassador in Sudan Srikumar Memnon for his efforts to rescue the abducted.<br/><br/>25 year old Midhun Ganesh, and 40 year old A. Edward, who belong to Tamil Nadu were abducted by the Sudan People's Liberation Army-In Opposition, SPLA-IO on 8th of this month when they were on field work. They are employed in the Operations and Maintenance Department of Dar Petroleum Production Company in South Sudan.
