In Jammu & Kashmir, two militants belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen have been arrested from Sopore area of Baramulla district. Sopore SP Harmeet Singh told AIR that police arrested Showkat Ahmad of Dooru Sopore and Tanveer Kar of Mundji Sopore yesterday. He said some ammunition was also recovered from them.
