Two football matches in Europe called off due to security scare

Last night two friendly football matches in Europe were called off due to security reasons, keeping in view of recent Paris attacks which left 129 dead and many injured. In a match slated between Germany and the Netherlands was cancelled at short notice after a suspicious object was found at the stadium in Hannover. Police evacuated everybody after unidentified object was found. Members of the German government including Chancellor Angela Merkel were scheduled to attend the match to send a signal that Germany wouldn't bow to terrorism.In another fixture, Belgium's friendly with Spain in Brussels was called off by authorities because of security fears. The Belgian Football Association said it had taken the decision to cancel the game, following consultation with its Spanish counterparts. It said, we cannot take any security risk to our players and fans. For Paris attacks French prosecutors have identified a Belgian as the mastermind.
