Two fishermen were killed and another is missing when a foreign ship hit a fishing boat off Kochi coast in the early hours today. Three workers were injured. The Navy and Coast Guard have taken the Panama based Cargo ship into custody in this connection.<br/>There were fourteen fishermen in the boat of which eleven rescued by another boat. The injured were brought back to Kochi and admitted in the hospital. Search is on the way for the missing fisherman.The accident occurred about twelve nautical miles off Kochi coast.<br/><br/><br/>The Navy and the Coastal Police have asked the Cargo ship authorities not to move away from the place where it is detained. The Coastal Police have registered a case against the ship in connection with the incident. Efforts are on the way to bring the ship to Cochin Port for further investigation.
