Two explosions outside Stadium in Bangluru shortly before IPL Match; 12 injured

In Bangaluru, atleast 12 persons have been injured in two explosions of low intensity near Chinnaswamy Stadium delaying the start of the IPL cricket match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers. Police in Bangaluru say that a third bomb was found at gate number eight of Chinaswamy stadium but was defuded before it went off. The injured include 4 policemen and 3 security personnel.<br/><br/>The blasts occurred near gate number 12 at about 3.20 pm sending panic in the area. The players were immediately sent back to the dressing room as the packed stadium was awaiting for the start of the match at 4.00 p.m. The two team captains later returned and Royal challengers won the toss and elcted to bowl. The match began an hour late.<br/><br/>The City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidri, who visited the spot, said the nature of explosives used is being investigated. He said the explosives were hidden near the outside wall of the Stadium. Police and Balistic experts combed the area for clues and security was strengthened all over.The Home Ministry has sought a report on the incident. <br/> <br/>
