In Nigeria, a small airplane has crashed in the north of the country, killing its British pilot and Nigerian engineer. Officials say the plane was making a test run following maintenance when it crashed yesterday after taking off from the northern city of Kaduna. The French news agency reports the plane was owned by Shawa Engineering, a Nigerian oil company. Officials say they are investigating the cause of the crash.
