The two day talks between Iran and P5 plus one countries got underway in Geneva on Monday on nuclear issue amid reports that Iran has achieved self-sufficiency in producing uranium yellowcake, which is the raw material for enrichment. The European Union's top diplomat, Catherine Ashton, is conducting the talks with Iran's chief negotiator Saeed Jalili. Diplomats from six major powers have come to Geneva to meet Iran's chief nuclear negotiator. On Sunday , Iran declared that country has become self-sufficient in entire fuel cycle as it shipped the first consignment of yellow cake from Gachin mine in Bandar Abbas of southern Iran, to Isfahan Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF). White House official Mike Hammer said that this step calls into further question Iran's intentions and raises additional concerns at a time when Iran needs to address the concerns of the international community.
