Two-day Non-resident Keralites meet begins today

A two-day meet of Non-Resident Keralites begins in Thiruvananthapuram today.Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the event. It will be attended by large number of Malayalee entrepreneurs from India and abroad.Apart from union ministers Vayalar Ravi and E Ahamed a number of eminent non resident Keralites are expected to attend the two day crucial meet.Kerala having the highest human resource development indices in the country comparable to European standards owe the same to millions of Malayalees working across the globe and in almost all states of India. The global non-resident Keralites meet organised jointly by the state government and Norka Roots will have special sessions on role of non-resident Keralites in the development of the state, rehabilitation issues of those returning from gulf countries and investment opportunities in Kerala in infrastructure and service sectors.
