A National Conference on Women Legislators will begin in New Delhi today. The two-day conference will be inaugurated by President Pranab Mukherjee. Vice President and Lok Sabha Speaker will also address the inaugural session. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the valedictory session tomorrow. The conference is being organized at the initiative of Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. AIR correspondent reports that the conference will be attended by 300 women MLAs, MLCs, MPs, Union Ministers and Chief Ministers.<br/> <br/>Speaker of Bangladesh Shirin Chaudhary will also attend the conference and will be Chairperson of the Plenary Session.

A two-day National Conference of Women Legislators will begin in New Delhi today. The theme of the conference, organized by Parliament, is Women Legislators-Building Resurgent India. President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the Conference, which will be attended, by Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi among others. The Valedictory Ceremony will be held in the Central Hall of Parliament House tomorrow.
