A two-day Conference of Chairpersons of Public Accounts Committee, PAC of Parliament and State Legislatures will begin today in New Delhi.<br/><br/>Briefing reporters, PAC Chairman KV Thomas said, the conference is aimed at charting out ways and means to enhance the level of functioning of the PAC and make it more effective. Prof Thomas said, discussion session on various issues and challenges faced by it, has been planned. 29 States are expected to participate in the event. The conference will be inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
