Two-day interactive session of Heads of Indian Missions abroad to begin today

A two-day interactive session of the Heads of the Indian Missions abroad will begin today in New Delhi with the address of External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna. They will discuss a wide spectrum of foreign policy issues including developments in India's immediate and extended neighbourhood. According to a press release issued by the External Affairs Ministry, relations with key nations and regions, besides regional and international issues of importance to India will also figure in the two-day interactions. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and the Defence Minister A.K. Antony will also address the session. Top diplomats will interact with captains of Industry and Business. They will also call on the President and Vice President.
