Two-day G20 Labour Engagement Group meeting begins in Patna, Bihar

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The two-day meeting of the G-20 Labour Engagement Group started today in Patna, Bihar with the theme of 'one earth, one family and one future'. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inaugurated the event. In his inaugural remarks, Mr. Arlekar exhorted the delegates of the summit to deliberate on labour issues and social security in holistic manner integrating it with human rights also.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"> </p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">He said if we ponder comprehensively on these issues we will be able to address the grievances of under privileged classes. The Chairman of L-20, the labour engagement group Hiranmay Pandya said, the event will witness brain storming over wide range of labour reforms and issues of social security. He said enhancing the participation of women in global workforce is also in agenda which is at diminishing end in International Labour Organisation (ILO) report.
