Two CRPF commandos killed, dozen hurt in anti-Naxal ops in C'garh

In Chhattisgarh, two CRPF personnel were killed and 14 others were injured in an encounter with Maoists in Sukma district last evening. A joint team of CRPF's exclusive jungle warfare unit CoBRA battalion and District Reserve Group- DRG was on a search operation in Kistaram area of Sukma district yesterday. <br/><br/>Maoists ambushed the team of security personnel near Dabbamarka village. Security forces retaliated the fire. In this gun battle two jawan of CRPF were killed, while 14 jawans sustained bullet injuries in this encounter. The encounter which started at around 12:30 p.m. continued for more than 8 hours.

In Chhattisgarh, two CRPF commandos were killed while over a dozen injured in multiple encounters between security forces and Naxals in the Maoist-affected Sukma district. <br/><br/>Quoting officials, PTI reports that the two commandos succumbed to bullet injuries last evening, and at least 14 others, including their team leader and Commandant, were injured. The officials said, the commandos, who belonged to the 208th CoBRA battalion, were airlifted and sent to a hospital.
