Two bombs have exploded in northwestern Pakistan killing at least 80 people. One hundred and twenty injured people are being treated at a hospital in Peshawar. Condition of at least forty of them are seriously . Media reports say, most of the dead were recent recruits to Pakistan's para-military police force, the Frontier Constabulary. Eye witnesses said the recruits were boarding vehicles to go on leave after completing their training, when the two blasts took place. The Pakistan Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blasts and said that it is a revenge for the death of Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. Taliban said, it will carry out more deadlier attacks across Pakistan and Afghanistan. The attacks come as the Pak military chief prepares to appear before the Parliament to answer questions about Osama Bin Laden's presence in Pakistan and about the operation that killed him. A police official was quoted by state-run TV as saying that the first bomber, who was on foot, detonated hisexplosive vest near the main gate of the Frontier Corps training centre at Shabqadar, 35 km from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa capital Peshawar. The second bomber, who was on a motorcycle, struck about eight minutes later as security personnel were removing the dead and injured from the spot.
