Delhi Police has arrested two high ranked militants of the banned terrorist outfit People's Liberation Army -PLA of Manipur. They have been arrested for their alleged involvement in helping Maoists in training and providing them with arms.Briefing reporters in New Delhi, Special Commissioner of Delhi Police, P. N Aggarwal said that their arrests have been made form Paharganj area of the national capital. They have been identified as N. Dilip Singh, a self-styled captain of PLA, and his associate Arun kumar.He said that their arrest has exposed the nexus between militant organisation PLA and CPI ( Maoist) and their intention to form a Strategic United Front. Police has registered a case against them under Unlawful Activities Act and further investigation is on.
