<span style="color: black;">Two Myanmar citizens were arrested on Thursday in New York for plotting to harm or kill the Myanmar ambassador&nbsp; to UN Kyaw Moe Tun. The ambassador was earlier removed by the military government of Myanmar from his post for publicly denouncing the military takeover in his speech at the UN. However, he is recognized as the legal representative of Myanmar at UN as the UN has not acknowledged the military government .</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The arrested persons have been charged for conspiring with an arms dealer in Thailand who sells weapons to Myanmar military to kill or injure Myanmar's ambassador to the UN, Reuters quoted the American authorities. Both have been charged with one count of conspiracy to assault and make violent attack upon a foreign official.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The accused Myanmar citizens were offered money by the Thailand arms dealer to hurt the ambassador to force him to step down. If he did not agree to step down, they were given a plan to tamper with his car to cause a crash. According to the complaint, money was also received by the accused for undertaking the attack.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
