Union Home Minister P Chidambaram says terror plot busted recently in the US has links with Pakistan. Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad today the Home Minister said Indian Government has been informed by the US security agencies about the terror plot of LeT. Stating that Hedley against whom FBI filed affidavit in the court has visited Pakistan several times, Mr. Chidambaram said two or more people have also been arrested in Pakistan in this connection on the advice of FBI. He said it shows the country’s links with the aborted plot that has been drawn to create large-scale terror. On Maoists issue, the Home Minister said he has no information about the demands from them to hold talks. Stating that there was no operation Green Hunt, the Minister said the Centre is only providing paramilitary assistance, intelligence and technical help to the states where ever necessary.
