Two army pilots of Cheetah helicopter were killed after the chopper crashed near a thickly-populated residential area adjoining the aviation centre in Nashik on Wednesday morning.AIR Nashik Correspondent reports that the helicopter of the Army aviation corps crashed at around 9.15 a.m on a private bungalow. The incident occurred during a training session of the pilots. A technical snag occurred just few minutes after the chopper took off, following which the pilots tried to do an emergency landing on the roof of the bunglow to avoid any harm to residents of the area. However, the chopper crashed in the shed of the bunglow and the pilots were killed.
