In Jammu and Kashmir, two army jawans were killed in a gunbattle with infiltrators on the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district this morning. According to a defence spokesman, Army troops guarding the border noticed a group of heavenly-armed militants trying to infiltrate into this side<br/><br/>of the LOC in Machhil sector. He said the security men challenged them following which a gunfight broke out. The spokesman said the infiltrators opened fire on the troops resulting in the death of two army jawans.<br/>
