In Jammu and Kashmir, nine people were killed in two terror attacks in Kathua and Samba districts today. In the first incident, heavily-armed militants dressed in army fatigues attacked Hiranagar police station in Kathua around 6.45 AM, killing 6 people. They include 4 policemen and two civilians. The same group of militants later targetted an army camp in nearby Samba, killing three army men. Three army personnel including a Lt. Colonel were also injured in the attack. DIG Police Jammu-Kathua Range Shakil Beig said, two militants were killed in Samba army camp. The gun battle between the militants and security personnel continued, when reports last came in. A massive search operation has been launched in the entire area along the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway.
