Twin blasts rock Pak, no casualties reported

In Pakistan twin blasts occured near an intelligence office in Qasim Bela area of Multan Cantt on Tuesday .According to police several casualties are feared in the blasts. The injured are being shifted to the nearby hospitals including Nishtar Hospital, Civil Hospital and CMH. A state of emergency has been declared in the city.Details are awaited. Another blast had earlier occurred in Peshawar on Tuesday. Media reports say the blast occurred in the Kohar Road area of the city. A police team was dispatched to the area to investigate the incident. However, there were no immediate reports of casualties. Details are awaited. Earlier, a series of bomb attacks in Pakistan had killed at least 46 people. In the country's second largest city Lahore, two bombs went off within 30 seconds of each other in the busy Moon market killing at least 49 people. The attack which injured about 100 people sparked a huge blaze at the city's Moon Market. The toll increased following several people succumbing to their injuries and more bodies being dug out of the rubble. The blasts came just hours after a suicide bomber on a rickshaw killed at least 10 people in Peshawar when he blew himself up near the court house.
