In Uttar Pradesh, a TV journalist was shot dead by motorcycle-borne gunmen in Chandauli district on Saturday night. Superintendent of Police said that 45 year old, Hemant Yadav, who worked with a local news channel, was shot at in Dheena area. The scribe was rushed to the government hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.<br/><br/>Police said that Yadav's body has been sent for post-mortem. They said, an FIR has been registered against unidentified persons at Chandauli police station following a complaint by the deceased's wife. This is the 3rd incident of a journalist being killed in Uttar Pradesh in 4 months.
