In Tamilnadu, Popular TV Host Mr. Rabi Bernard has been fielded as a candidate for the vacant Rajya Sabha seat by the AIADMK. This was announced at a statement released by the Party on Wednesday. The vacancy arose due to the resignation of Mr.K.V. Ramalingam who contested in the Assembly election and is now a minister in the State Cabinet. The bye election for the Rajya Sabha would be held on the 22nd of next month.
