The tussle between the Congress and NCP on portfolio sharing is still on in Maharashtra. Top Congress and NCP leaders are still to come up with a solution. The talks between the Congress and NCP over government formation remained stuck over the issue of which of the two allies will get the home portfolio. However, senior NCP leader Praful Patel has indicated that the issue will be solved within one or two days. The Congress, with 22 MLAs more than the NCP, is adamant to get key portfolios like home, finance and power, while the NCP is equally firm to stick to the portfolio-sharing formula of 1999 when it had important portfolios like home and finance. <br/>Meanwhile, newly-elected BJP MLAs of Maharashtra are expected to meet on Friday in Mumbai to select the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. According to BJP party sources in Mumbai, senior party leader Eknath Khadse is expected to be selected as leader of the BJP Legislature Party.<br/>
