Government has prepared a turnaround plan for the national career Air India's revival. Presently the Plan is being vetted by an independent consultant as required by the consortium of banks and RBI. Giving this information in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today, the Minister for Civil Aviation Mr. Vayalar Ravi said that 1200 crore rupees for Air India's revival has been provided by the government in the next fiscal. Mr. Ravi further informed the House that Air India had sought three thousand crores rupees as equity for its revival.
