Turkish PM in Tehran to enhance bilateral ties

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Tehran last night for a two-day visit. The Turkish prime minister is scheduled to meet with Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani during his stay in Iran. Iranian media reports say that Erdogan's talks with Iranian officials will focus on ways to enhance bilateral ties and exchanges of views on issues of common concern. Ahead of his arrival in Tehran, Erdogan said the West had treated Iran unfairly over its nuclear program. Erdogan is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation.
