Turkish plane shifted, Operation resumes at Mumbai airport runway

Operations to remove stuck Turkish Airways aircraft which skidded off the runway at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai have been successful and the plane has now been shifted to Air India’s hanger.Confirming the news, Spokesperson for Mumbai International Airport Limited, Ms. Anindita Sinha told AIR that the flight operations on the main runway are now expected to resume very soon.A Mumbai bound Turkish Airways flight TK-720 arriving from Istanbul with 97 passengers aboard had skidded off the taxiway at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai on Friday morning causing major delays and diversions in flight operations.
