Turkey warns of security steps in response to Iraqi Kurd vote

Turkey has warned that actions in response to a controversial independence referendum in Iraq's Kurdistan region would have economic and security dimensions. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters in Kirsehir province today, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said these steps will be taken in close cooperation with Iraq, Iran and other neighbouring countries. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Iraq's Kurdish leader Massud Barzani has delayed a scheduled news conference on the controversial independence referendum till tomorrow, as international pressure mounts for its postponement.
